PUBLIC NOTICE: NOXIOUS WEED SPRAYING
Mille Lacs County Public Works Department is charged with controlling noxious weeds in county road rights-of-way. For the 2019 growing season, May through October, the primary method of noxious weed control north of County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 11 (190th Street) is mowing. The primary method of noxious weed control south of CSAH 11 is herbicidal spot spraying.
Mille Lacs County provides landowners south of CSAH 11 an opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of right-of-way herbicidal spraying adjacent to their property. If you choose to opt-out, you are required to provide alternative methods to control noxious weeds. To opt-out, please complete a 2019 No Spray Notification available on the Mille Lacs County website at http://www.millelacs.mn.gov / go to Government / Public Works / Noxious & Invasive Weed Control. You must complete the No Spray Notification and return it to the Mille Lacs County Public Works Department by May 17, 2019.
